There Is No End Of Things To See In Luxor

luxortempleLuxor is one of famous historic place in the world with it’s archaeological heritage. Luxor is one of the destination of the oldest and most important city in Egypt. Located in the province of Qena. Luxor is known as the largest museum in the open air.Like most city that located in the Valley of Nile river, Luxor are split become two namely: west Luxor and east Luxor. Luxor east is the center of activity where all living creatures born, grow and living. While west Luxor is the location of the grave / tomb and temple worship of the god of death. Luxor is now developing as usual modern city where the majority of livelihoods of the population comes from the tourism industry. Hotels, restaurant, shopping centers and other business activity is centered in the east Nile river. Meanwhile, in addition to west Luxor remains the tomb complex which also a residential for farmers, breeders and fishermen. There is no end of things to see in Luxor, so you might do well to make sure you have your days well planned out in advance.

Main tourism in east Luxor is Karnak Temple and Luxor temple. A Pyramid of famous Giza, Karnak Temple is the most important place in the history of pharaonic. Karnak temple was filled with 134 columns with the gigantic super large room that is not culminate, on both sides of the lane before the main gate, Great Hypostyle standing granite statue of King Ramses II. And in the heart of Karnak temple complex, there are Anum Temple dedicated to the king of the gods.

Second important tourism is Luxor temple, the location is really ideal temples are concentrated in the heart of Luxor. Luxor temple construction extends parallel with Nile river. Luxor temple architecture show an impression elegant and gentleman, was built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III, and then updated by Ramses II. Even in the last decade under the authority of Alexander the Great, Luxor Temple is modified further.

For museum lovers, Luxor has two outstanding museums: Mummification Museum and Luxor museum. Meanwhile, for tourists who prefer the culinary experience, or just wash the eyes, the heart of Luxor facilitated along with the wide pavement (road) Sharia al-Corniche to along Nile river. There are rows of shops souvenir, float restaurants, cafes or tents along the line Sharia al-Corniche offers traditional cuisine and seafood.

One of the unique option to enjoy the Nile river is dinner on cruise. Along the river there are many options of Nile dinner cruise on the hotel or float, so do not worry not to divide. Do not forget to bring sun glasses, hat and use shawl or more useful than an umbrella.
