Suggestions For a Holiday on a Budget
October 16, 2009
In the northern hemisphere as the days grow short, the nights grow long, and the holiday seasons begin. We have allowed the media and savvy marketers to lure us into the need to buy and spend on food for parties, decorations to “put us in the mood,” and gifts that go way beyond family. Why even your local banks offer Christmas savings accounts just to make sure your budget can handle the onslaught of expenses. Can you merge the materialism of the holiday season with limited finances while still planning for better use of your money? Here are some suggested ways to save or spend wisely on entertaining, decorating, and gift buying.
In recent years we have chosen to entertain with conveniences. We use disposable plates and cups because it makes cleanup a breeze. You could appreciate a savings if you use your own plates and cups. Yes, you will have to wash but most have a dishwasher that makes that job a breeze. Also, when entertaining try to serving soda out of the 2 liter bottles and do not use cans. Often cans are not fully drunk; they may be placed down and forgotten. Besides, just like at the fast food places there is usually more ice in a drink than the liquid itself. This method will save dollars in beverage cost and might allow you to have more flavor variety to offer. Read more

Phuket Thailand Are Definitely Set to Be the Best Yacht Charters in Asia
October 16, 2009
When I landed in Singapore
I went straight to my boat and fired up the laptop. I did a Google search for Phuket Yacht Charter and picked the first boat that came up.
Hey presto, there was a 70ft Catamaran which can sleep up to 16 guests, this was very similar to the boat I was currently on in Singapore however I wasn’t going to waste time and fuel sailing down to Phuket on my Cat.
This was great, I have my sister’s 40th birthday next week and she had only just been saying the other week that she did not know what to do for the celebration. This was the solution!
This looked like it was a fantastic boat for a larger group of guests that wanted absolute luxury on a cruise.
So I booked us all in as a surprise dream cruise for 3 days to the East Coast of Phuket. Im told that cruises to this part of the Island are unbelievable with the magical views of the world famous Phang Nga Bay. Read more
